On my return from Peru, I stopped in Mexico City with plans to visit the ruins at Teotichuacan. In Mexico City, I visited the Zocalo and the Palacio Nacional. The National Palace contains a series of murals representing the history of Mexico which were painted by Diego Riviera.

The archaelogical zone of Teothihuacan was the most important city of the American continent in the middle of the last millenium and sixth largest city in the world and that time.
